The class will include an introduction to botany and plant parts, how to lay out your botanical composition, and an in-depth explanation of drawing techniques. Use contour, shading, and cross-hatching to accurately depict your favorite medicinal plants, forming a deeper relationship with them through close observation. Reconnect to your creativity and boost your mood with this meditative practice designed to help you better connect with the beauty that surrounds you. All skill levels are welcome! Each student will leave with a set of drawing materials and prompts to continue their botanic studies.
