Diagnostic assessment in TCM involves the examination of the body in order to collect information related to health imbalances and identifiable patterns. In this workshop, Dana Hutchinson RH (AHG) will discuss the five primary aspects of tongue diagnosis, explore the methods of pulse examination, and examine the possible pathological changes reflected on the nails. We will also analyze 2 client case studies from Dana’s private practice, the Wildflower Clinic, so the class will have a practical example of how these TCM assessments can aid in client herbal formulation choices. The case studies will include images of both the client’s tongue and nails in addition to a detailed description of the pulse reading. This class is great for beginners looking to open their minds to the beautiful intricate world of Chinese medicine assessment and for established clinical healers looking to expand their skill sets. This class includes approx. 20 pages of educational handout material.
