Herbal Book of Hours

The mystical practice of the monastic sacred pauses, often called the hours or the sacred office, can bring us into presence, intention and connection throughout the wheel of the day. Before the formation of the monasteries I believe that Brighid’s priestesses, at her temple in Kildare, gathered at these eight times throughout the day and wove herbs into their sacred pauses.Join me to learn about the sacred hours of the day including vespers, compline and lauds and ways to use words and herbs to deepen into this ancient practice. A Zoom link will be sent on the day of class. Includes a custom herbal remedy to be mailed after class.
